Terms of Business
Terms and Conditions
These terms explain how Web for AI provides its services, what clients can expect from us, and what we ask from clients in return.
1. About Web for AI
Web for AI provides AI visibility consultancy, SEO support, website structure advice, content improvement, schema guidance, AI search optimisation and related digital marketing services for UK businesses.
Throughout these terms, “Web for AI”, “we”, “us” or “our” refers to Web for AI. “Client”, “you” or “your” refers to the person, business or organisation using our website, booking a consultation, requesting an audit, purchasing a service or working with us.
2. Using this website
By using this website, you agree to use it responsibly and lawfully. You must not attempt to interfere with the security, performance or normal operation of the website.
The information on this website is provided for general guidance only. While we aim to keep the content accurate and useful, it should not be treated as legal, financial or professional advice specific to your business.
3. Free AI visibility audits
Web for AI may offer free AI visibility audits or initial website reviews. These are intended to give a practical overview of potential issues, opportunities and next steps.
A free audit does not guarantee rankings, traffic, leads, AI citations or commercial results. It is a starting point for understanding how your website may currently be interpreted by search engines, AI platforms and potential customers.
We reserve the right to decline, limit or withdraw free audit requests where they are unsuitable, incomplete, duplicated, abusive or outside the scope of what we offer.
4. Paid services
Paid services may include AI visibility audits, SEO consultancy, website structure improvements, content recommendations, schema planning, WordPress support, AI search optimisation, reporting and ongoing growth support.
The exact scope of work will be agreed before paid work begins. This may be confirmed by email, proposal, invoice, payment page, written summary or another agreed form of communication.
Any work outside the agreed scope may require a separate quote or additional charge.
5. Client responsibilities
To provide our services properly, we may need access to information, systems or accounts such as your website, analytics, Google Search Console, Google Business Profile, CRM, hosting, CMS, plugins or other relevant platforms.
You are responsible for providing accurate information, suitable access and timely feedback. Delays in providing access, information or approvals may delay the delivery of the work.
You remain responsible for the accuracy of business information supplied to us, including service descriptions, prices, claims, credentials, locations, policies and contact details.
6. Access to client systems
Where access is provided to client systems, we will use that access only for the purpose of delivering the agreed work. We will take reasonable care when working inside your website, analytics tools or related systems.
You should only provide the level of access required for the task. Where possible, dedicated user accounts should be created rather than sharing main administrator logins.
You are responsible for maintaining backups, security controls and ownership of your own systems unless otherwise agreed in writing.
7. Results and performance
We aim to improve how your business is found, understood and trusted by search engines, AI systems and potential customers. However, we cannot guarantee specific rankings, traffic levels, enquiries, revenue, AI citations or appearances in AI generated answers.
Search engines and AI platforms use third party systems, algorithms and data sources that are outside our control. Results can vary depending on competition, website quality, business reputation, content depth, technical setup, market demand and wider platform changes.
8. Content, recommendations and approvals
We may provide website copy, content recommendations, SEO guidance, schema suggestions, technical notes, reports or strategic advice. You are responsible for reviewing and approving content before publication where approval is required.
Unless agreed otherwise, final responsibility for published content, legal compliance, industry compliance and factual accuracy remains with the client.
9. Payments
Fees, payment terms and billing arrangements will be confirmed before paid work begins. Payment may be requested upfront, monthly, by invoice, through a payment provider or through another agreed method.
Work may be paused if payment is late, incomplete or fails. We reserve the right to withhold delivery of final reports, files, recommendations or implementation work until outstanding payments have been settled.
10. Ongoing monthly services
Ongoing services are designed to improve and maintain visibility over time. Monthly work may include monitoring, content improvements, schema updates, technical recommendations, reporting, consultancy and strategic guidance.
Unless otherwise agreed, ongoing services continue monthly until cancelled. Cancellation terms, notice periods or minimum commitment periods will be set out in the relevant proposal, invoice, payment page or written agreement.
11. Cancellations and refunds
Once work has started, payments for consultancy, audits, strategy, content planning, technical reviews or implementation work are generally non refundable, as time and expertise will already have been allocated.
If you wish to cancel a service, please contact us as soon as possible. Any refund, partial refund or credit will be considered based on the work already completed, the nature of the service and any written agreement in place.
12. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise agreed, once paid for in full, the client may use the final approved content, reports, recommendations, website copy, schema markup or implementation work created specifically for their business.
Web for AI retains ownership of its underlying methods, processes, frameworks, templates, know how, audit structures, internal tools and reusable systems.
You must not resell, copy, package or present our methods, reports, templates or consultancy materials as your own service without written permission.
13. Third party platforms and tools
Our work may involve third party platforms such as Google, Bing, WordPress, Elementor, analytics tools, AI platforms, hosting providers, CRM systems, plugins or payment providers.
We are not responsible for outages, policy changes, pricing changes, algorithm updates, account restrictions, data loss or technical issues caused by third party platforms.
14. Website changes and technical work
Where we make or recommend changes to a website, we will take reasonable care to avoid disruption. However, websites can be affected by plugin conflicts, hosting issues, theme changes, caching, third party scripts or existing technical problems.
Unless website maintenance or backup management is specifically included in the agreed service, you remain responsible for maintaining backups and ensuring your website is properly hosted, updated and secured.
15. Confidentiality
We will treat confidential business information shared with us with reasonable care. This may include access details, commercial information, reports, analytics data, strategy documents and internal business information.
We will not intentionally disclose confidential client information to third parties unless required to deliver the agreed work, comply with the law or protect our legitimate business interests.
16. Data and privacy
We may collect and process personal information when you contact us, request an audit, book a call, become a client or use our website.
Personal data will be handled in line with our Privacy Policy. You should read the Privacy Policy alongside these terms to understand how personal information is collected, used and protected.
17. Limitation of liability
We will provide services with reasonable care and skill. However, to the fullest extent permitted by law, Web for AI will not be liable for indirect losses, loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of business opportunity, loss of data, reputational damage or losses caused by third party platforms.
Our total liability for any claim relating to a paid service will not exceed the amount paid by the client for that specific service, unless the law requires otherwise.
18. Acceptable communication
We aim to work with clients in a clear, professional and respectful way. We reserve the right to pause or end work where communication becomes abusive, threatening, unreasonable or obstructive.
19. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, website, business operations or legal requirements.
The latest version of these terms will be published on this page. Continued use of our website or services after changes are published means you accept the updated terms.
20. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the courts of England and Wales.
